A quick little back story about this page you discovered.
If you were looking for this amazing story of how I was born holding a Pentax in my hand and a roll of 35mm film in the other, then unfortunately this is not that story.
This story is a simple one, of a guy who always had a love for photography.
My first memory of photography is that of me taking photos in our backyard with a Konica Minolta AF50, having to wait 4 days for the film to develop and then only finding out my focus was out!
From there High School happened, and I joined the photography club as an extramural activity, quickly learning the basics of photography with my trusty Canon Powershot A520.
From there I was quickly given a Canon EOS 350D and became the school photographer for all local sporting events (Guess it was more convenient for a student to run around than the teacher.)
Unfortunately life happened after school, and bills and work took priority over looking at life through a lens and recording it.
Fast forward to today, armed with a Canon Powershot SX500 IS and a passion reignited, I’m here to once again to capture the magic of life and sharing it with the world!
But wait there is an update on the above paragraph! I finally got my hands on my first DSLR. I picked up a Canon EOS 200D with 2 lenses. And oh my word what a difference!
This web page is where I will post my journey, from starting out fresh to mastering the art again.
